11 JUL - Home Sweet Home

I know the comment is a little cliche but it is fitting. I'm interested to see how things are on the old homestead since I've been gone so long. The first thing that you'll see is that the house didn't burn down whilst I was away. Luckily, my good friend Joe mowed the lawn so I'm not WAY behind in that. The backyard is a JUNGLE though. There are weeds back there that are 7 feet tall. It's quite impressive.

I didn't have any terribly exciting adventures on the way home. I had to return the car yesterday. I still couldn't work-up the junction to photograph the cross-dressing rental car agent. I wasn't returning the car on the same day that I was departing so I had to find a way to get back downtown to the hotel. Luckily, the agent gave me a lift to the nearest train station which took me all the way downtown. The conductor let me ride for free since I didn't have a normal ticket.
